Process Overview

RFP Pilot Open for Submissions

Duration: 1 month

Interested applicants should respond to an RFP by applying **here,** selecting the Crypto Economy Fund, and then selecting the Lending & Borrowing RFP grant category.

Once your application has been submitted, a dedicated member of THF will review your application and you will receive an email about the next steps.

Screening & Scoping

Duration: 4 weeks

During the Screening & Scoping process, we will often ask clarifying and scoping questions.

The applicant will undergo a Tech Review and be assigned a Tech Reviewer that will analyze the technical components of your proposal, including documentation such as architecture and user journey diagrams. The technical reviewer will assess your team's technical capabilities, ensure the correct processes, use of Hedera Services, and design approaches are being applied to your project.

Once your application passes the Tech Review, you will be required to complete the Grant Request Form. This is an important document as it will be reviewed and ultimately judged by the Foundation Grant Committee, in addition, the legal team will use this document to draft your grant agreement.

Evaluation & Award

Duration: 2 weeks

A team member from THF will submit the RFP to the Foundation Grant Committee on behalf of the applicant. The Foundation Grant Committee will review and make a formal decision on awarding the grant.

Legal will draft the agreement using the information in the Grant Request Form and the KYC/KYB process is conducted. The agreement is executed through DocuSign. The awarded project will be shared publicly and added to the Funded Grants page.
