Awarded grantees of The HBAR Foundation RFP Program require metric-driven milestones related to product development and growth metric goals. Grant funding is tied to the milestone completion, with portions of the grant unlocked as each milestone is completed. Please find a non-exhaustive list of examples below:

Product development goals:

• Mainnet deployment completed by x date
• Product A/Feature A completion by x date
• Completed Smart Contract audit by x date
• Ecosystem partner integrations completed by x date
• App store launch by x date

Growth metric goals:

• x amount of transactions per second (TPS) on Hedera
• x amount of Account creations on Hedera
• $x TVL by y time on Hedera
• x platform users

Milestone Delivery Instructions

The following instructions are intended for awarded HBAR Foundation RFP Program grantees.

Milestone Delivery

Once you have completed a milestone, please email your HBAR Foundation POC and our Tech Team a recording demonstrating your milestone completion. Please include in the email;

1. The milestone you are seeking approval for (reference the Payment # in the Grant Agreement)
2. A list of all deliverables completed
3. Include any materials due at this time such as; code base, diagrams, wallet integration, website link, App store link, or anything that will help demonstrate your completed milestone.

Milestone Review

At this stage, your POC and the Tech Team will review the demo and the evidence shared. A technical reviewer will be assigned to your account and will contact you with any feedback or comments if necessary.

Milestone Approval

The technical reviewer, your POC, and Finance will need to provide final approval of milestone completion before proceeding to the next step.

Milestone Invoicing & Payment

Once the milestone is approved, you will be asked to send a Subsequent Grant Disbursement Invoice to Finance to receive your milestone payment.

Milestone Completed

Once you have completed a milestone, you should start building toward the next one!
